Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation!

Heyaa!

I have just recently found this foundation (around 2 weeks ago) and i am absolutely in love with it! I have honestly been searching for the perfect foundation for SO long, and i think i may have found it!

This foundation claims to have yellow pigments for anti-dark circles, mauve pigments for anti-dull complextion and green pigments for anti-redness and I do believe that this foundation contains all of them! Normally with foundation i have quite high expectations and this has definately lived up to them! When i first heard that this foundation had many different colour pigments in it i was slightly worried that it would leave my face with a slightly coloured tinge like some anti-redness primers do however this did not, and it covered up every single blemish i had :)

This foundation also claims to last up to 16 hours however, i don't think that it does although it still does last around 8-9 hours which is still pretty long wearing without any touch up in the day! Maybe something that could affect the way it stays on my skin could be that i have slightly oily skin, although it still does last an incredibly long time!

I apply this foundation with my MAC 187 Duo Fibre brush and then buff it in with my MAC Kabuki brush, i find this makes your skin look flawless and beautiful :)

I would definately recommend you to try this foundation out although i don't believe that it is available in the USA :( sorry! I purchased this in Superdrug for £10.99 (30ml) and i think that it is worth every single penny i spent! Next stop could be the matching concealer ;) Haha!

Lip stick review: YSL rouge pur couture 06

Hello everyone!

Today i will be doing a review on a lipstick i purchased the other day at the YSL counter, the lady was fairly helpful (and patient - as i tried about 7 different colours out hehe) and i eventually came to the decision of shade 06 in rouge pur couture. I was looking for a shade that i could wear everyday but wouldn't wash me out and i found exactly that!

Can i just start out by saying i LOVE LOVE LOVE the packaging as usual YSL have the gold packaging with the logo split between the two parts which can be annoying as you cant just slap on the lid because it can go a little funny - but I'm just weird like that - however this is very elegant and classy and i love to flop it out whenever i can (to show of a little ;). i also love how the luxurious gold packaging doubles as mirror handy

But getting on to the actual product, i have the shade 06 which is a pink toned neutral. On the lips i think it looks more or less identical as it does in the bullet and embellished into the bullet is the YSL logo, and i personally love it! If you haven't noticed I'm a bit of a sucker for packaging... but i cant help it!

The formula is super super super creamy which feels absolutely lovely on the lips and is moisturising however because of its formulation it means that it barely says on for 20 minuets! NOT GOOD. This is the only downfall i can find to this lipstick and I think is a perfect match for me and i think it would suit tones of skin tones so really it is universal. If this isn't the shade for you there is 30 to chose from, an excellent colour range! The lipstick had SPF 15 which is really good too and an extra bonus to the already amazing lip stick.

It looks beautiful even in swatch form! I would overall give YSL a thumbs up for this product as i love it. BUT and this is a big but it is a little steep on the price at £23.50 so a little more expensive than your average lipstick but i know it will definitely use it often and i think it is worth it.

7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag!

Hello!
So i thought i would do this tag as i find it really fun although i didn't want to do it as a video on our youtube as i don't want it to turn in to one of those channels that only does tags, so i thought i'd do it here! If you don't know, you should have a look at our youtube! User: sincerelymakeup. :)
1. GREED- what is your most inexpensive/expensive beauty product? Probably one of my large Urban Decay palettes for most expensive and least expensive is probably just my little tin of vaseline i absolutely love!
2. WRATH- what beauty product do you have a love/hate relationship with? This is 100% my Makeup Forever HD Foundation, i brought this for $40 when i was in America because i wanted to see if it lived up to all the hype, i personally dont think that it does.
3. GLUTTONY- What are you most delicious beauty products? Probably my Body Shop lip butters.
4. SLOTH- What product do you neglect because of laziness? Eyeliner :(
5. PRIDE- What beauty product gives you the most confidence? Foundation or mascara.
6. LUST- What attributes do you find most attractive in the oppersite sex? If they are funny!
7. ENVY- What item would you most like to recieve as a gift? An expensive perfume as i never really by them for myself (accept Wonderstruck)

Perfume Review: Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift

Hey!

As most of you probably know Wonderstruck is the new fragrance by the beautiful Taylor Swift, as you will probably soon find out, i am absolutely completely in love with her! The main thing that caught my eye about Wonderstruck wasn't just the fact it was by Taylor, but because of the gorgeous bottle it comes in!

As you can see this is a beautiful deep purple bottle with rainbow shimmer which reflects when placed under the light. Wonderstruck is clearly written in the centre of the bottle in big capital with Taylor Swift in her signature font underneath. The 3 charms around the top are supposed to be the charms hanging in the room of the T-Party! Another cool fact about this bottle is that on the lovely gold patterend lid there is a hidden 13, it is a little bit of a challenge to find it, haha!

Rather than focusing this post on the bottle, how about we actually get to the main focus, the smell of the product :). I have researched about the notes in this fragrance and there claims to have top notes of freesia, tea, berries and apple blossom. The middle notes are vanilla, honeysuckle and hibiscus and the base notes of musk, sandalwood, amber and peach. Honestly i don't believe that anyone can smell this perfume and pick out any of these notes apart from maybe the berries, however i think a perfume i could compare it to is Britney Spears Fantasy and Britney Spears Midnight mixed in to one, two other perfumes that i completely love! In my opinion, that is what it can be best compared to however i think that it is a really unique smell that Taylor has done an amazing job of creating!

If your wondering who this would be suitable for, i believe it is quite a young scent that i would mainly recommend for teenagers and younger adults however i would definately recommend that if you are intrested to go to your local department store that stocks this and test it out! It is amazing! I would recommend this if you are looking for a present for a friend however maybe not as much if you were looking to buy this for your Mum.

I purchased mine in Macy's when i was in New York earlier this year in February for around $60 (100ml). At the moment it is only available in America however i believe it should be out in England in around 12-13 weeks, so exciting! I would definately tell everyone to try this out although it is slightly pricey!

Lots of Love,
