Perfume Review: Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift

Hey!

As most of you probably know Wonderstruck is the new fragrance by the beautiful Taylor Swift, as you will probably soon find out, i am absolutely completely in love with her! The main thing that caught my eye about Wonderstruck wasn't just the fact it was by Taylor, but because of the gorgeous bottle it comes in!

As you can see this is a beautiful deep purple bottle with rainbow shimmer which reflects when placed under the light. Wonderstruck is clearly written in the centre of the bottle in big capital with Taylor Swift in her signature font underneath. The 3 charms around the top are supposed to be the charms hanging in the room of the T-Party! Another cool fact about this bottle is that on the lovely gold patterend lid there is a hidden 13, it is a little bit of a challenge to find it, haha!

Rather than focusing this post on the bottle, how about we actually get to the main focus, the smell of the product :). I have researched about the notes in this fragrance and there claims to have top notes of freesia, tea, berries and apple blossom. The middle notes are vanilla, honeysuckle and hibiscus and the base notes of musk, sandalwood, amber and peach. Honestly i don't believe that anyone can smell this perfume and pick out any of these notes apart from maybe the berries, however i think a perfume i could compare it to is Britney Spears Fantasy and Britney Spears Midnight mixed in to one, two other perfumes that i completely love! In my opinion, that is what it can be best compared to however i think that it is a really unique smell that Taylor has done an amazing job of creating!

If your wondering who this would be suitable for, i believe it is quite a young scent that i would mainly recommend for teenagers and younger adults however i would definately recommend that if you are intrested to go to your local department store that stocks this and test it out! It is amazing! I would recommend this if you are looking for a present for a friend however maybe not as much if you were looking to buy this for your Mum.

I purchased mine in Macy's when i was in New York earlier this year in February for around $60 (100ml). At the moment it is only available in America however i believe it should be out in England in around 12-13 weeks, so exciting! I would definately tell everyone to try this out although it is slightly pricey!

Lots of Love,
Emily xoxo
